'Who are the true champions of Europe'?Currently, it can be said, that Manchester United are the 'Champions' having beaten Chelsea in the Final in May, 2008 in Moscow. Despite the fact that the Champions League is a wonderful format and a pleasure to watch the best of Europe play each other, it is only a cup competition. We raise this point based on our own market research, with two particular questions raised, and we have only every had one person give us a correct answer to one of the questions, and no-one ever answering both correctly, random guesses seem to be the ‘norm’ showing the lack of understanding of the finer details of the competition. In order to expand the mind, we raise the questions, now.
In open field play, having played either 90 or 120 minutes of football, how many matches do you have to win by scoring more goals than your opponents within that time frame to win the Champions League competition and to simplify it, from the last 32 stage of the competition? None! At the group stage, although unlikely, each team may draw their fixtures, and could go through on having scored more goals, in the knock-out phase, you can qualify on the away goals rule, and as for the final, a penalty shoot-out will determine the winning team.
What is the lowest denomination (number) of individual teams you would have played against from the last 32 stage of the competition to win the Champions League competition. 6 Teams. The 3 teams from the group stage - match at the last 16. last 8, and last 4 and Final, but remember, at some stage during the knockout phase/Final you could meet a team from your original/initial qualifying group stage. When you have attained the answers you will have a different perspective of the Champions League, and see why it is a cup competition. It is similar to the F.A. Cup in England, everyone wants to play and win the F.A. Cup, but the true champions of Europe should be the league winners of a competition. If you will proceed to our European Super League, we will show you a European Super League format, which we believe will give us the true 'Champions of Europe', and allow us to show the main bodies of football running our game, how a system can be implemented to retain the current Champions League status, and ensure all the U.E.F.A. European affiliated countries are still involved in the main European competitions. As it is, we are launching our own version of the system via a game we have devised to show the football fraternity how simple this matter is and to raise funds towards our sports injury awareness/sports tolerance programme. If you go to "Does Darryl hold the 'Keys'" you will view correspondence of a meeting and we will also enlighten you on the whole interview. |
