'Does Darryl hold the 'Keys' to our success'Our proposals for a European Super League were placed before a Merchant Banker as far back as February 1999, and we show correspondence to such a project by giving you access to correspondence received. Click on this link to view. We were advised by Darryl of his connections, in particular of the work conducted on behalf of a now very predominant U.E.F.A. official, so much so, I was told at our meeting in London, and I quote 'the chair you are sitting is the one that (U.E.F.A. official) sits in when he visits me in London'. In addition to this, having shown the formation of a European Super league to Darryl, and how it would inter-act with the domestic structures of the major leagues of Europe at that time, and answered all the questions raised by him which covered the sort of problems 3rd parties may have raised Darryl's comments were ‘this will work, it is the legal framework that will be the problem. The format of the European Super League is as shown on the web page, and we will advise as to whether it is an elitist league or whether there is a promotion or relegation option. It is not our intention to dwell further on our initial involvement with Darryl, but the contents attached to this letter are to give clear indication that we have spoken to those of authority, and it is our wish to view this to the grass-roots of the football fraternity and get a feed-back on the Super League proposals and the filtered down affect on the domestic leagues, as there has been the restructuring at the lower end of the game from non-league downwards within the English framework as our football bodies get organised. |
